HR function: the challenge of agility in serving employees

“Agility, flexibility, speed: how to make these concepts tangible in day-to-day conduct?” It is on this issue that the Roche HR teams found themselves in co-working mode, challenged by the Acte Sept coaches.

Within a co-working atmosphere in a café booked for the event right in the centre of Paris, the entire HR team – around 15-members strong – met to continue the discussions about the HR of the future.

Accompanied by three Acte Sept coaches, the working groups were formed with one objective: giving concrete expression to the professional conduct to be modified or implemented within the team in order to demonstrate agility. The discussions were very informative – how to be agile in a constrained context? How to organize yourself to stay flexible? How to take the time to move quickly (and effectively)?

The presentation of each group was humorous and original, in three themed passages, making use of the feedback from the public to improve their design thinking. And there was time for conclusive, unplanned, particularly honest and constructive exchanges.

It was a unique day that found the right mix of fun and work. There was QVT (quality of life at work) recess including lunch: in the light of the morning's reflections, agility also means knowing how to take advantage of break times to be effective in rush times!
