Club Med: help future resort managers find the right tone

A long-standing client of Acte Sept, Club Med has been in the throes of change for several years. The strategy of moving upmarket is bearing fruit. Our team of coaches works with future resort managers to fine-tune their public speaking skills.

Since its takeover by the Chinese company Fosun, the growth of Club Med has accelerated at the pace of a dozen new resorts opened every year. Most of their future resort managers are recruited internally from high-potential employees. Acte Sept thus contributed to their development programme by helping them to master the spoken communication aspects related to their new managerial responsibilities.

First session, a leg-up and a return to the basics: finding out about and using the levers of non-verbal communication in the service of high-impact public speaking. We then got to the heart of the matter: adapting your speech to different audiences. Depending on whether they are addressing a client, their teams or the local authorities, resort managers must be nuanced as regards the tone of their message. It is a subtle exercise, essential to becoming a good brand ambassador.
