Direction of Regional Action of EDF Occitanie: spoken communication at the service of business

Creating the right conditions for operational subsidiaries to do business by communicating their message to their stakeholders: that's the DAR's roadmap... and it deserves some good coaching!

EDF's Regional Action Division works over the long term. It prepares the ground for business.

Its mission is to make EDF a key player in the regional ecosystem related to its activities.

This inevitably involves successive speeches by all the members of the Executive Committee in different contexts: the media, conferences, round tables, chairing professional bodies, etc.

Most of the topics are ‘positive’, but in some cases they may require ‘sensitive’ statements.

Faced with the increasing number of opportunities for EDF to gain visibility generated by the work of its teams, the Executive Committee decided to enlist the help of Acte Sept to help them collectively develop their skills in these different speaking situations.

We designed a programme combining :

• group training on “common core” subjects,

-training in small groups on specific situations (media training, moderating debates, etc.)

-group training on complementary techniques (Pitch, Storytelling, Emotional Intelligence)

Individual coaching to prepare high-stakes presentations

Here too, the work takes time ????
