The Pitch

After the Second World War, the orderly life of an Undersecretary of State for the Family who obtained the closure of brothels and the increase in penalties for abortion offences, changes when he learns on the same day, that his wife is expecting a child and that his son got his secretary pregnant ! It is only the beginning of a succession of unforeseen events that will shake the landmarks of this bourgeois family...

Our recommendation

Michel Fau stages with finesse and brilliance the comedy by André Roussin. Funny as one pleases, the play is performed by an impeccable cast where the irresistible Catherine Frot sits majestically. She wonderfully embodies a middle-class mother shaken in her convictions, almost ridiculous, she is deliciously funny there. Don’t miss it especially.
