The pitch

Pierre, Jules and Louise Gauthier adore each other and love their parents deeply. So, when the latter ask them to come join them urgently - they have something very important to tell them - the three upset children rush, fearing the worst. But the worst is not happening, at least not right away, and the wonderful news that Jeanne and Vincent announce to them will shatter the beautiful family unit... fervently wishing to the three rejects what they feared the most upon arriving a few hours earlier !

Chers parents is a comedy that talks about family, love, money, each person’s place in siblings, the impermanence of feelings, the shadow that lies within each of us and what parents owe to their children. The show received a nomination for the best Comédie aux Molières 2022.

'Chers Parents' is the latest creation of the talented Armelle and Emmanuel Patron. With a fine writing and a dynamic staging, this boulevard comedy offers a real whirlwind of emotions. The punchy dialogue and funny situations made me laugh to tears and also touched me deeply. An unforgettable evening at the theater, where one finds the pleasure of shared laughter and the tenderness of family ties. Don’t miss this little theatrical gem !
